Watches & Warnings

Dense Fog Advisory
Issued: 3:16 AM CST Jan. 22, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Dense fog advisory remains in effect until noon CST today...

* visibility... one quarter mile or less at times.

* Impacts... low visibility will result in difficult driving
conditions. In areas where the temperature is below freezing... the
fog may deposit on objects and surfaces including sidewalks and
roads... resulting in patchy slick spots. Travelers take caution.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
