The Milagro Beanfield War is one of my all-time favorite movies, and has my favorite movie character of all time, Amarante Cordova. On the surface, Amarante looks weak and broken down, but underneath is a quiet strength and dignity time had not yet defeated.

This particular clip reminds me of the situation here; the Coyote Angel says "Relax, amigo, relax. It's your town that's dying." The movie itself gets a little heavy on the drama, and I'll confess that I've been a little heavy on the drama here, too. Gomen. The angel also speaks of "Seeing windmills on your horizon." Granted, I feel a little like Don Quixote myself, as I know deep down, IBM doesn't care a rat's katuckus what I think, and they are going to do what they are going to do. Still, being silent, and quietly accepting whatever fate that lies in store isn't acceptable to me, either.
Therefore, I must prepare for the worst, hope for the best, and if I feel we are getting the shaft, make myself heard!(Even if no one is listening)
Milagro is Spanish for "miracle". That would be nice here, wouldn't it? :' )
The views of the author are his/her own and do not necessarily represent the position of The Weather Company or its parent, IBM.
