Thanks for the breakfast Captain! The new meds they gave SugarBear worked
last night, we both had 6 hours of sleep for the first time. Wonderful. Home Care
nurse and PT person are both supposed to show up today. See you all later.

Yes Indeeed !
Today is Thursday ! It's confirmed.
So all is well, and everything is under control, and the coffee is good, and the bacon and toast and stuff. Thank you, Capt.

It is Cold this morning. Must be at least 70. Beastly !
And today's Project is to construct some formwork to pour some concrete into a place where there was a wooden post which got removed yesterday because it was rotted out.
Then remove some kitchen drawers, and plane the faces and repaint. They were never done properly, and have annoyed me for 10 years...... it's funny how you can never get used to things like that, eh ?

But first, a little wander amongst the shrubbery, to saw hello to the ants, wasps, spiders and so on.
I am trying to befriend them in the hope that they stop biting me.
I'll let you know how it goes........

I know what Pottery is talking about. SugarBear and I have lost all track of time.
I didn't know today was Wed either. All we know is every four hours she gets a
pain pill, then we get some sleep, then we have something to eat, then she gets
another pain pill, then we get some sleep, then we have something to eat, then
she gets another pain pill, and on and on and on. That means the days sort of
run together until you lose track. We are going to sleep. See you soon.

It's all gonna be fine Pottery.

You'll wake up tomorrow and look at that wall and decide that it doesn't really need painting after all. Of course, this could cause a quandary next week when you go to use the paint on something else and can't figure out who used all your paint. But then you won't have to paint the something else either because you'll be spending your day filling out forms in triplicate at the local bureau of missing paint office. (But the upside is, having wasted a day filling out forms, you'll be right back on schedule.)

It's always something. Best to avoid skipping days when possible and only replay the really good ones!

Have a good sleep and have a great Nextday.

Yes, it's all Very Peculiar...
All day long, I was convinced it was Thursday.
Now, I have to re-live Thursday, tomorrow.
Does that mean I have to re-do all the things I did today, even though I have finished them ?
Dam. I'm gonna need to buy more paint, for one thing !
Maybe if I slept all day long tomorrow, it will be OK ?
I don't know.
I'll wake up on Friday, and I'll still have missed Thursday because Thursday was Wednesday and tomorrow is Thursday again and I'm getting a headache.........

I hope everything is fine with you fellows.
I'm going to bed and when I wake up I'll decide what day it is....... it's going to be a longer week than I thought.......

Not a drop of rain here yet. Our forecast keeps changing the time the rain is
supposed to be here. Every four hours "they" say something different.

Gee, I hope Pottery didn't paint himself into a corner. LOL

Dinner tonight was home made Chicken Pot Pie. YUM YUM
Dessert will be Peach Cobbler with Vanilla Ice Cream.

OK, you can stop for lunch now.
I've had mine--ham, cheese, tomato, lettuce, pickles, stuffed into 2 Hops Breads.
Very good.
But I ate it all up, so there's none left.
Or right, either.

But you can have some coffee.
Coffee is very good on a Thursday after lunch.
You didn't know that ?
Of course you did.

Anyway, enough of this Mindless Banter.

We have another band coming our way from Savannah on the East Coast.

Good luck on the painting Pottery. Hmmm, don't paint Pottery, Pottery, just do the

apostrophes, sort of, but commas are at the bottom and apostrophes are at the

Then it's back home to continue the painting.

Rental cottages are OK, but I agree with the Capt.
It's much more peaceful when they are empty, but then the cash-flow suffers......
The rental from ours helps to pay the guy who spends his time keeping the grass from taking over the world.

Greetings Again!!! Yes, I know that we are normally sleeping at this time of night,
and we were doing just that when the House Alarm System started beeping this
loud rapid pulse beeping noise that it makes when the power to the house goes
off for some reason and it won't shut up until you jump out of bed and put the
security code in, which I won't tell you of course, and then within seconds my
cell phone rings because the Monitoring Station has detected that the power has
gone off to the house and the alarm of course, and they call to let you know that
they detected that the power has gone off to the house and they just wanted to
call and tell me that and see if everything was alright or had some bad guy cut
the power off to the house thinking that he could then get in the house because
the power to the house and the alarm was off, but he didn't know that the alarm
system has a back up battery system that will keep the alarm system on for at
least twelve hours so when he tried to break in the house the alarm would go off
anyway and since I was already up and awake because the alarm system woke me
up as soon as the power went off and then the Monitor Station called me to tell me
that the power was off that as soon as he stepped foot into my Castle I would put
the Crimson Trace Red Dot Laser on his chest and pull the trigger. heh heh heh

The storm still has not hit Macon yet so I don't really know yet why the power went
out, but the lightning often hits in advance of the main storm so maybe that is the
reason. The power just came on while I was typing this short little story so it is now
time to go back to bed.

Oh, the reason I could still type this short little story while the power was out is due
to the fact that my router has a back up battery power system also so I can still use
my laptop to type up short little stories until that runs out of power. I should probably
check the manual that came with the router and see how long that actually is. LOL

Going back to bed now, it's been nice talking to you. heh heh heh

Snakeymon has left the building.

That last might be confusing...A 2 bedroom cottage next door to my house, where my grandparents lived for a while in their final years. I still call it my grandma's house, out of habit. I totally remodeled it after my grandfather died, with 36 inch doors and a wheelchair ramp etc. to make things easier form my grandmother and her nurses. It was empty for a couple years but I recently rented it. Kinda mixed about that because it's too close, but he's not here much, so I deal with it.

One small rental house, plus my grandmother's 2br cottage, which was my guest house. Now both rented year round (less money, but less trouble). The guy in the cottage works commercial construction and is only here on weekends.

Need to order some inventory. Stuff that was on sale yesterday but not today. Knew I shouldn't have gone to bed without doing it. Now I've got to shop a couple other places...

Then there is the matter of company coming next week. Should probably clean up this desk. Renting out the guest house helps pay the taxes, but it's inconvenient and means that when people come here, they are constantly underfoot.

Well, that would be because you can lash the port side to some stout cleats on the pier to keep from tipping too far.

But NEVER to Starboard. No Sir. A list to Starboard is very bad.
I'm not sure why this is so, for I have found that a List to Port is also rather daunting.
