Today I added a weather web cam to keep an eye on whatever is happening. Currently it is facing South East (and the image is flipped because the camera would only mount upside down). I may face it North West as the spring gets more active because we get lots of thunderstorms from that direction. It is a 1080p IP cam that updates once per minute. The picture and color look pretty good (to me) for an industrial camera and it only took about 10 minutes to configure...

Current conditions are cloudy and mild. Temperature is at 54 degrees F and has not changed more than one or two degrees from last night. Humidity is VERY high (97%) and it is foggy. All in all a very quiet Sunday morning. To be sure, the weather here will look like this in just a few more weeks. The picture was taken by my wife Anita during a thunderstorm a few years ago near our home.

Might I recommend that Ambient Weather Observer IP 1400. It took about 20 minutes to go from opening the box to having a registered account and a weather station mounted and running. Most of that time was spend putting up the poles. For the price, this is the easiest device I have ever tried to install. The directions were straight-forward, and, most importantly, everything worked! That is so rare now days.
