New Cloud Type?I saw this picture online (from the Associated Press), and the caption suggests that this type of cloud has yet to be identified. Now, I know I've seen these kinds of clouds before. I always assumed they were Mammatus Clouds. How are these Iowa clouds different than Mammatus? Thanks!

I'm a little frustrated with Madison weather forcasting today. We've had pouring rain, hail, thunder/lightening, etc. since a bit before 12:00pm here in Madison, WI. I've seen this dinosaur along I90 in South Dakota. It's in a field next to the 1880 Town in Murdo, SD. I tried to take a picture, but this one is much better from Grossmutti. Anyway, does anybody know the story of this dinosaur? Who's is it? Who made it? Is it related to the story of Sue in any way? Since the dinosaur is being walked West, do you suppose the sculpture asks for Sue to be returned to SD? Oh and where can I get one of these!
