Winter Storm Watch
Issued: 2:46 PM MDT Apr. 26, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from Thursday morning
through Friday evening...

* impacts... heavy, wet snow could cause difficult travel
conditions due to poor visibility and snow packed roads. This
would include Highway 14 through Burgess Junction. Power outages
are possible.


* Timing... snow is expected to develop Thursday morning and
continue through Friday afternoon. The snow could be heavy
at times, especially Thursday afternoon through Friday
morning. Snow will taper off Friday evening.

* Snow accumulation... 12 to 18 inches with higher amounts
possible.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Watch is issued when severe winter weather is
possible but not imminent. At this time there is a potential for
significant snow. Future driving and walking conditions may
become hazardous so it is important to monitor the latest
forecasts.
