Watches & Warnings

Special Statement
Issued: 2:35 PM MDT Sep. 20, 2018 – National Weather Service

... Possible freezing temperatures Friday morning in low lying
areas...

A clearing sky after a cool day today will lead to a chilly night
tonight around the region. The normally cold low lying areas
could see temperatures at or near freezing by sunrise Friday
morning. This would include low lying areas along the Wind River,
Bighorn river, Shoshone river, popo agie, and little popo agie
rivers, and low lying areas around Casper. If you have sensitive
outside plants or gardens, it might be a good idea to be prepared
to cover them up Thursday night. Temperatures will be a couple
degrees warmer Friday night, but still down into the upper 30s for
a few areas.
