... Mixed precipitation will continue to affect Vermont...

Expect mixed precipitation across Vermont through the early to mid
afternoon hours. For areas west of the Green Mountains
snow... sleet... and freezing rain are expected. Spotter reports
indicate freezing rain over northwest Vermont is causing slippery
travel conditions. For areas east of the Green Mountains the

little light freezing rain mixing in. Snow and sleet
accumulations will generally be in the 1 to 3 inch range and
slippery travel conditions are expected. The precipitation will be
tapering off later this afternoon and temperatures will gradually
be warming above the freezing mark. Until then... use caution when
traveling across Vermont.
