Winter Storm Warning
Issued: 4:14 PM MST Feb. 18, 2018 – National Weather Service

... Winter Storm Warning now in effect until 5 am MST Monday...

* what... heavy snow. New snow accumulations of 4 to 6 inches in
the Cache Valley with 6 to 12 inches over the northern Wasatch
front. Storm total accumulations of 8 to 16 inches.

* Where... the Cache Valley and the northern Wasatch front.

* When... through Sunday night.

* Additional details... this looks to be the most significant storm
for the region all winter season. Those planning to travel
tonight through Monday morning should be prepared for winter
driving conditions including snow covered roads and reduced
visibilities. Roads may become treacherous, so make sure to have
a winter storm survival kit in your car. These kits should
include warm blankets, extra clothing, extra food and water,
flashlight, cell phone and batteries. Also make sure to gas up
before traveling.

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means that significant
accumulations of snow are expected or occurring. Driving
conditions may be hazardous. Use caution. Keep a winter storm
survival kit in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
