The Flood Warning continues for
the Brazos river near Rosharon
* until Saturday morning... or until the warning is canceled.
* At 0916 PM Wednesday the stage was 43.6 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 43.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 44.2 feet by early Friday
morning. The river will fall below flood stage Friday before midnight.

* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by tomorrow
late evening.

... Wind Advisory remains in effect from 2 PM this afternoon to
3 PM CST Friday...

* event... winds west to northwest 20 to 30 mph. Gusts to 40 mph.

* Timing... Thursday afternoon through Friday afternoon.

* Impact... loose objects outside may below away. Be sure to
secure any tents, canopies, patio furniture, bouncy houses,
and high- profile cranes. High profile vehicles on southwest
to northwest or west to east roads may experience strong cross
winds.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Drivers of vans... campers... trailers... and other high-profile
vehicles should be alert to the danger of these winds...
especially when driving along east to west oriented roads.
