... Light snow accumulations possible Wednesday night into
Thursday morning...

A developing storm in the Arlatex early Wednesday will slide
northeast towards the lower Ohio and Tennessee River valleys by
midday Thursday. Moisture is expected to surge northwest from
Alabama and lift over colder air as it reach portions of
northwest Tennessee... the bootheel of Missouri and portions of
northeast Arkansas Wednesday night. Light snow accumulations will
be possible with a threat for minor ice accumulations as well. A
winter weather product may be needed for the region in future

... Possibility of wintry weather Wednesday night into Thursday...

A slow-moving upper level low pressure system will likely track
from East Texas Wednesday morning, to the Ohio River valley by
Thursday evening.

There will be some potential for wintry precipitation -
predominately a wet snow - along the northeast and north portions
of the upper low Wednesday night into midday Thursday.

The exact track of the upper low, and subsequent snowfall
potential remains uncertain. But at this early time, there is a
potential for accumulations Wednesday night into midday
Thursday... especially over northwest Tennessee, the Missouri
bootheel and northeast Arkansas.
