A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 1 PM EST this afternoon.
* Light to moderate snow will continue through the morning hours... before diminishing.
* Total accumulations of 6 to 10 inches can be expected through early afternoon.
* Winds will increase overnight into Wednesday with sustained winds of 15 to 20 mph and frequent gusts of over 30 mph contributing to blowing and drifting snow. This may cause particular problems for exposed west to east oriented roadways.
* The combination of accumulating snowfall and gusty winds will lead to poor Road conditions during the morning commute with travel remaining dangerous.

Light to occasionally moderate snow will continue across all of Southeast Michigan through sunrise. The heaviest snow will occur from the Bay City and Saginaw areas southward into livinston and western Oakland counties. Accumulations within this band will reach a half inch per hour at times. Additional accumulation of 1 to 2 inches will be possible through 7 am. Elsewhere... accumulation will remain at an inch or less. In addition... increasing northerly winds will create blowing and drifting of the snow.
