The National Weather Service in Wakefield has issued a dense fog
advisory, which is in effect until 9 am EDT this morning.

* Areas affected: the lower Eastern Shore.

* Hazards: poor visibilities due to dense fog.

* Visibilities: at or below one quarter mile.

* Timing: through mid morning today.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.

Areas of fog have developed over portions of the lower Eastern
Shore this morning. Expect the fog to continue until mid morning,
with visibilities under a half mile at times.

Motorists should be alert for sudden changes in visibility due to
the areas of dense fog. Drive at reduced speeds and use low beam
headlights only.
