... Coastal flood advisory remains in effect until 9 PM EDT this
evening...
... Coastal Flood Watch remains in effect from this evening
through Saturday morning...

* locations... shoreline in Anne Arundel County.

* Tidal departure... around 2 feet above normal.

* Timing... around the times of high tide. The next two high tides
are at 3:29 PM today and 4:13 am Saturday morning.

* Impacts today... water is expected to pond in the parking lot at
Annapolis city dock, causing parking restrictions in the area.
Minor shoreline inundation up to one foot above ground is
possible elsewhere.

* Possible impacts tonight and Saturday morning... water may come
up through storm drains, approaching businesses on dock street
in Annapolis. Water may approach the maritime museum and begin
to cover Bowyer Road at the naval Academy. Shoreline inundation
up to one foot above ground is possible in other low lying
areas.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A coastal flood advisory indicates that onshore winds and tides
will combine to generate flooding of low areas along the shore.
