Flood Warning
Issued: 6:11 AM EST Nov. 20, 2018 – National Weather Service

The Flood Warning continues for
the Charles River at Dover.
* Until Wednesday evening... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 5:45 am Tuesday the stage was 5.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 5.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will rise to near 5.1 feet by this
afternoon. The river will fall below flood stage tomorrow early
afternoon.
* Impact... at 5.0 feet... people living along the Charles River should
prepare for flooding of low lying areas along the river.
Susceptible locations include low lying areas along Fisher Street
in Needham and a small area on the South Natick and Wellesley line
along River Street.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Sudbury River at Saxonville.
* Until late Wednesday night... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 5:15 am Tuesday the stage was 10.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will rise to near 10.1 feet by
tonight.The river will fall below flood stage by tomorrow evening.
* Impact... at 10.0 feet... flooding will affect low lying areas along
the river in Wayland, including a portion of shore Road and Pelham
Island Road near Heards pond.

... Burst of snow this morning across interior northeast
Massachusetts may result in some slippery travel...

A band of snow will impact interior northeast Massachusetts this
morning... especially along and north of the Route 2 corridor. 1 to
2 inches of snow may accumulate with localized 3 inch amounts
possible in the Haverhill... to Lawrence to Lowell corridor.
Untreated roads will become slippery for a time during the morning
rush hour... so drive with extra caution. The bulk of the
accumulating snow will occur through late morning... so drive with
extra caution especially near the New Hampshire border.
