The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 9 am this morning to 6 PM CST
this evening.

* Winds... south 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

* Timing... strongest winds are expected between 11 am and 1 PM.

* Impacts... driving may be difficult, especially for high profile
vehicles on east west roads. Blowing dust will reduce
visibility.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of at least 30 mph
and/or wind gusts over 45 mph are expected. Winds this strong
can make driving difficult, especially for high profile
vehicles. Use extra caution.

* Winds... south 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

* Relative humidity... as low as 30 percent.

* Impacts... any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly
and become very difficult to control. Outdoor burning is not
recommended.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
