... Winter Storm Watch in effect from Saturday morning through
Saturday evening...

* what... widespread heavy snow and blowing snow possible. Total
snow accumulations of 3 to 9 inches, with local amounts up to 12
inches possible. Plan on difficult travel conditions. Wind gusts
as high as 60 mph are expected.

* Where... portions of central, south central, southwest and west
central Kansas.

* When... from Saturday morning through Saturday evening.

* Additional details... widespread heavy snow and blowing snow may
produce blizzard conditions for several hours during the
daylight hours Saturday. Expect travel to become dangerous to
impossible, with visiblity reduced to near zero at times. Some
roadways may be drifted shut. Strong winds will combine with wet
snow on trees and powerlines to create possible power outages.
