Issued: 3:53 AM CST Feb. 23, 2018 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from midnight
tonight to 6 PM CST Saturday...

* what... a mixed bag of freezing rain and snow expected. Total
snow accumulations will range from a dusting up to three
inches, with the heavier snowfall amounts over southern
Nebraska. Ice accumulations of up to one tenth of an inch are
expected.

* Where... portions of north central Kansas and east central and
south central Nebraska generally southeast of a Central City,
Kearney, Cambridge line.

* When... from midnight tonight through 6 PM CST Saturday with
the heaviest snow and freezing rain falling Saturday morning.

* Additional details... plan on slippery Road conditions. The
wind will be fairly light out of the north at 5 to 10 mph and
will not be much of an issue during this event.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while
