Flood Warning
Issued: 9:44 PM CST Jan. 23, 2019 – National Weather Service

The Flood Warning continues for
the big Muddy river near Plumfield
* from late Thursday night to late Sunday night.
* At 9:00 PM Wednesday the stage was 18.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by Friday morning and continue to
rise to near 21.0 feet by Saturday morning. The river will fall
below flood stage by Sunday evening.
* Impact... at 20.0 feet... minor flooding occurs affecting mainly
bottomland and surrounding low lying areas.

... A few slick spots tonight...

In the wake of widespread precipitation, cold air continues to
overspread the region tonight. Where roads are still wet after
temperatures drop below freezing, some slippery spots are likely
tonight.

Gusty winds will help to dry off most of the Road surfaces, but
any puddles will freeze.

Please use caution tonight and early Thursday, especially on
untreated driveways and parking lots.
