The National Weather Service in Quad Cities has issued a
* Flood Warning for
the Mississippi River at Rock Island ld15.
* Until further notice.
* At 10:00 am Wednesday the stage was 12.8 feet... and rising.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage Sunday morning... and continue
rising to 16.7 feet Wednesday.
* Impact... at 16.5 feet... water affects Credit Island Lane in
Davenport and the 4700 block of River Drive in Moline. Water is at
the base of the flood wall gates at the downtown Rock Island
riverfront.

the Mississippi River at Le Claire ld14.
* Until further notice.
* At 11:30 am Wednesday the stage was 8.6 feet... and rising.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage Monday... and continue rising to
11.9 feet Wednesday evening.
* Impact... at 12.0 feet... water affects the lowest houses along the
Princeton River Front. Water affects several local roads on
campbell's island and is at the foundations of a few homes. In
Pleasant Valley, water is at the bases of or in many houses along
the river.

the Mississippi River at Camanche.
* Until further notice.
* At 11:30 am Wednesday the stage was 14.9 feet... and rising.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage Sunday morning... and continue
rising to 18.7 feet Wednesday morning.
* Impact... at 17.0 feet... water affects low-lying residences at
Albany.

... NWS damage survey for 05/23/17 tornado event

Funnel clouds were reported across northwestern Illinois on 5/23/17.
Eyewitness reports along with radar data confirmed one briefly
touchdown.

A tornado was observed by eyewitnesses along with radar debris
signature. Eyewitness said that they had to slow down and wait for the
tornado to pass in front of them on the Road. The point above is the point
where this occurred. A survey found no damage, however most of the area
was farm fields. Radar suggests a path that is likely longer than the
was actually on the ground.

Ef scale: the Enhanced Fujita scale classifies tornadoes into the
following categories based on the damage they cause.

EF0... weak... ... 65 to 85 mph
EF1... weak... ... 86 to 110 mph
EF2... strong... .111 to 135 mph
EF3... strong... .136 to 165 mph
EF4... violent... 166 to 200 mph
EF5... violent... >200 mph
