* At 01am Friday the stage was 10.30 (estimated) feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 12.00 feet.
* At stages near 15.5 feet... the west approach to the bridge on
Plymouth County Highway c44 at the gaging location begins to flood.

the Flood Warning continues for
the Floyd river at Le Mars.
* Until Sunday evening.
* At 05am Friday the stage was 23.80 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 20.00 feet.
* Forecast... the river will rise to 24.7 feet by 1 PM Friday.
* At stages near 24.0 feet... approximately 2100 acres of farm land
are flooded.

* Until Saturday evening.
* At 04am Friday the stage was 15.90 feet.
* Record flooding is occurring and record flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 14.00 feet.
* Forecast... the river will rise to 16.2 feet by 7 am Friday.
* At stages near 16.0 feet... County roads begin to flood.

the Big Sioux River at Akron.
* Until further notice.
* At 02am Friday the stage was 17.09 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 16.00 feet.
* Recent activity... the river rose above flood stage on Thursday
September 20.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 22.3 feet by
Monday September 24. Additional rises may be possible thereafter.
* At stages near 22.0 feet... Highway 48 begins to flood where the
Railroad tracks cross.

* Until further notice.
* At 01am Friday the stage was 26.24 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 20.50 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 29.7 feet by
Sunday September 23. Additional rises may be possible thereafter.
* At stages near 30.5 feet... Iowa Highway 10 begins to flood.
