... Significant weather advisory for northeastern Butts... northeastern
Fayette... southern Rockdale... Clayton... northwestern Jasper...
Newton... Henry and southeastern South Fulton counties until 745 am
EDT...

At 712 am EDT... a line of strong thunderstorms was along a line
extending from Covington to eagles Landing to Fairburn... and moving
southeast at 40 mph.

Hazard... up to 40 mph wind... pea sized hail and frequent cloud to
           ground lightning.

Impact... expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
           light... unsecured objects.

Some locations in the path of these storms include
McDonough, Fayetteville, Conyers, Covington, Jonesboro, East Point,
Stockbridge, Union City, Forest Park, Riverdale, College Park,
Hampton, Morrow, Lovejoy, Locust Grove, Lake City, Oxford,
Porterdale, Jenkinsburg and Georgia International Horse Park.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

People outdoors should seek shelter immediately. If you can hear
thunder... you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
