Winter Storm Warning
Issued: 3:35 PM PST Jan. 22, 2018 – National Weather Service

... Winter Storm Warning in effect from 10 PM Tuesday to 10 PM PST
Wednesday above 3500 feet...

* what... heavy snow expected. Travel will be very difficult to
impossible, including during the evening commute on Wednesday.
Tree branches could fall as well. Total snow accumulations of 3
to 7 inches, with localized amounts above 12 inches, are
expected.

* Where... north central and southeast Siskiyou County, including
Grass Lake pass.

* When... 10 PM Tuesday to 10 PM Wednesday. The heaviest snowfall
rates will occur between 10 am and 4 PM Wednesday.

* Additional details... look for significant reductions in
visibility at times.

* travel is strongly discouraged because of dangerous conditions.

* If you must travel, keep tire chains, a flashlight, blankets,
