accumulations through Sunday of 5 to 11 inches, with localized
amounts up to 24 inches, are expected. Areas of strong winds of
25 to 35 mph with gusts 40 to 60 mph.
* Where... the mountains, mainly above 5,000 feet elevation, but
snow accumulating to 4,000 feet or lower Saturday and Sunday.
This may include higher portions of the High Desert Sunday.
* When... through 2 am Monday.
* Additional details... be prepared for snowy or icy mountain roads
and chain controls in place. Prepare for reduced visibilities at
times in fog or blowing snow.
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
