Issued: 3:11 AM PDT Jul. 23, 2018 – National Weather Service

... Heat advisory remains in effect from 10 am Tuesday to 8 PM PDT
Thursday...

* high temperatures... daytime high temperatures will range from
75-85 degrees at the immediate coast to 85-95 degrees inland.
The hottest days are expected to be Tuesday and Wednesday.

* Impacts... increased potential for serious heat-related
illnesses, especially for the Young and elderly, those
performing outdoor activities, as well as those without access
to air conditioning. Increased potential for power outages.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A heat advisory means that a period of hot temperatures is
expected. The combination of hot temperatures and high humidity
will combine to create a situation in which heat illnesses are
possible. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned
room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and
neighbors.
