Virgin Islands waters... a weak surface trough extends from the Virgin Islands waters northeastward into the offshore Atlantic near 22 north 62 west...and will meander across the northeast Caribbean through Wednesday...before sinking southward into the Caribbean on Thursday. Broad high pressure will build across the western Atlantic late in the week and slide eastward through the weekend to bring a return of moderate trade winds to the region.
